I had a great experience today at Laurel ACE Hardware. I was able to pick-up the product I wanted and to perform a return of items I purchased for a job at another ACE location, but didn't end up using. A shout-out to team member Ivon and to store manager Norma for making today's visit a great one.

just moved back in the area. they have a "leave your bag at the entrance policy", so I guess I'll shop at home depot for my renovation needs. alas to "shop local"

I just had the best experience with Layla. She helped me find a really hard to replace washer for my sink handle. The folks at this Ace Hardware are top notch and I love that it’s in my neighborhood!

This is not a massive store, but the service makes up for it. Most of the workers are genuinely friendly and eager to help. Just ask ! Definitely worth stopping by.

I love having this hardware store in the area but its organization and ONE of its staff members are infuriating. The organization is a fever dream and I’m not going to go into it. There is one guy here that is my personal nightmare. He is so obscenely confident but has been wrong 100% of the time. I am a carpenter and fabricator. I know what I need, or what general thing I need. I just dont know where it is, or sometimes what it’s called. I usually look it up prior to coming in though and ensure it’s at least something they stock. This older white dude, 5’5”-ish, white hair is just so confidently incorrect. Not only does he tell me they dont have something, but he will usually confidently say it doesn’t exist. 5 times now I have let him answer a question and 5 times he has said they don’t have it/it doesn’t exist. 5 times I have found it in the store with a bit of patience. Him existing is worse than him not existing. Either stop talking to customers mate, understand you don’t know everything or learn your craft. Edit: raising to four stars based on conversation with store and the managers saying they would talk with employee.
