I was excited to go back here as I grew up down the street and remembered how I excited I was when this store first opened back when I was in high school. I needed a very specific thing that wasn't available anywhere else in Baltimore. I arrived an hour after the store opened (Saturday) and greeted with a blank stare from the 'security' sitting right at the front. I said Good Morning and absolutely no response just continues to stare. Alright fine. I spent a few minutes looking for my single item and an older gentlemen comes to ask if he could help out. He was extremely helpful! We looked around together for a few minutes and turns out it was placed in the wrong aisle hidden behind a few other heavy buckets. I checked out and the guy at the register was also very friendly. Then went to leave with my 50 lb bucket on a flatbed cart and 'security' that likes to just stare watched as I struggled to get the large cart through the manual heavy door, just to come out after I finally make it through to take a smoke break an hour into opening. Then of course no assistance either when I went to return the cart, but luckily a customer who wasn't on the clock had the decency to hold the door for me so that I could push the large cart through. I don't think I'll be going back here considering this guy brings down the vibe of the whole store for me. He clearly doesn't want to be there.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff. One big improvement needed: paint parking lines in lot. Customers park all over the place and when it’s busy the need for the lines is definitive.

Damian went above and beyond to help me out today with some paint. I cannot thank your wonderful team at Waverly Ace enough. I'm always greated and helped as soon as i arrive and your team always helps me find what I need. Outstanding!

Friendly and helpful staff helped with a purchase for salt on Dec. 13. Again would choose this hardware store just for the supportive workers there!

If you’re gonna mark up your items from what is listed online, at least price match them in the store. Your employee told me that she couldn’t price match an item but if I ordered it online, I could pick it up. I said no thanks I’ll take my business elsewhere
