I didn't catch his name, but the lovely gentleman at the front saved my kayaking adventure. The lock I have securing the kayak to my roof failed, so I came in for bolt cutters. When he heard what I needed them for he came out and got the job done! They may have lost a small sale, but have gained a big fan!

They carry some paint brands and specialty paint that you won't find at big box stores, similarly with some other items, which makes it worthwhile to check them out the next time you're doing some painting or a DIY project. Associates are helpful, but not pushy. During busy hours, parking could be challenging.

Tommy gets an A+ for customer service. He exemplifies the value of patronizing independent hardware stores, and for me Swartz in particuar. Tommy went over and above to ensure I had the proper hardware for a dolly that had fallen apart and that I was back in business and literally rolling along. That type of service would have never happened at one of the big box stores. I'm a true and long-time Swartz fan.

Prices are fine, of course a big box store is cheaper, but this is more convenient than driving further. Marshall is very nice and helpful. Good gas tank filling service also. Good tools if I forgot to mention.

I was just here and the staff (Abby especially) were so kind and helpful. Hardly anyone goes above and beyond anymore so l couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to the gentleman who put my new cart together for me after I bought it 🙏
