This place is amazing. I got my gardening supplies from here. The staffs are amazing and friendly. They help with all questions I usually have about gardening. Also, this place is one place spot for every hardware things you need.

Updated from 2-4 stars : I was contacted by the manager who issued a refund and is getting to the bottom of this issue. Recent Experience- I came in to have plywood cut to specific measurements for a furniture project — staff assured me it could be done. After 45 minutes of struggling with the cuts, only then did more experienced employees mention they didn’t have the right equipment and shouldn’t be doing it at all, as if I should have known that myself. I had to leave and asked for a call when it was ready so I could pick it up before closing. No one ever called. I followed up hours later, and the staff seemed completely unconcerned. The pieces I received were splintered and unusable (photos attached). This was a frustrating waste of time caused by poor communication, lack of follow-through, and no ownership of the mistake. I’m requesting store credit and hope the owner seriously addresses this breakdown in service. I appreciated the intent to help on the part of employeed but the lack of follow-through, wasted time and of course this being unusable is the cherry on top.

Love the store, the choice and the location. Unfortunately the people at the checkout are very disengaged and barely acknowledge your presence. This morning the guy didn’t even talk to me despite me trying to engage. He just grunted and kept talking to his peer. Disappointing but very common in Philly

Very knowledgeable about their store. They will have the obscure bolts that you won’t find anywhere else. Seriously, saved me a ton of frustration and hassle with their large inventory of hard to find nuts and bolts.

Visited around 10am on 1/28/2026, a few days after the snowstorm. There were no other customers in the store at the time — no line, no rush. When I asked for help locating an item, the cashier responded dismissively and did not look up from her phone. At checkout, she expressed irritation that I took a few extra seconds to present the barcode, despite the store being empty. The interaction felt unnecessarily curt and unprofessional. When we first moved to the neighborhood three years ago, the store was helpful and welcoming. Since then, I’ve overheard staff speaking negatively about customers and have repeatedly encountered rudeness at the front counter. Prices have continued to rise while inventory remains limited. Supporting local businesses matters, but customer service is part of the value. At this point, the overall experience does not justify the cost or convenience.
