Consumer warning: pay close attention to pricing before purchasing at this Ace Hardware location. We intentionally chose to shop local here instead of going to a big box store because we wanted to support a locally owned business. Unfortunately, that goodwill was not returned. We attempted to purchase a STIHL HTA 50 pole pruner that was clearly tagged on the product itself for $349.99. At checkout, the store refused to honor the posted price and then removed the tag when questioned about it. Mistakes happen, but customer service and accountability matter. Ironically, most major retailers would likely have honored the posted price without argument. Disappointing experience from a business we specifically chose to support because it was locally owned.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Maranatha Ace Hardware! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always going above and beyond to help find exactly what you need. The store is well-organized and stocked with a wide variety of high-quality products, making every visit a pleasure. Their customer service is top-notch, and they offer great advice for DIY projects. I highly recommend Maranatha Ace Hardware for all your hardware needs! Five stars!

Stunning landscape art amazing pieces you won’t see other places. Staff is wonderful and welcoming you will feel like family when you are there.

My local Ace in the mountains has had some limitations since new ownership so I went to Bakersfield. It was the reviews that inspired us to go to this location. Helpful, friendly, went the extra mile, just amazing. Store was welcoming, stocked and easy to navigate. Well worth the 45 minute drive. I will return here again. Definitely 5 stars!!!
