I really enjoy this place. It’s one of the few true hardware stores left where the staff actually know what they’re talking about. They have an excellent selection, and I’ve even managed to find some really obscure plumbing parts that larger supply stores didn’t carry. Jerry is especially great to deal with!

Just stopped by Alvarado Paint & Hardware for a few odds and ends. Some nails and a bit of touch up paint. I was really impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff was. Thankfully they had exactly what I needed, and it was easy to find everything. Definitely a great local spot for quick hardware runs!

It’s Pinewood Derby time again and I stopped by for a few things I needed to complete our family’s cars. We couldn’t find the graphite powder but the staff was so helpful trying to find it and also interested in the project I was working on. This is a true neighborhood store with friendly staff that want to help you out and get you what you need. So refreshing in an online and big box store culture.

I purchased an item online for my shower which the big stores did not have. They had it ready for me in 15 minutes. Friendly service from the cashier and from an older employee. I will definitely recommend this hardware store.
