Absolutely unacceptable experience at ACE Hardware on Bird Road & SW 57th Ave (Miami). Three employees in the store and not one doing their job properly. The cashier was on his phone. I had to interrupt him just to get attention. He shouted across the store asking for help — and nobody came. When someone finally showed up, he walked extremely slow, didn’t greet me, showed zero interest, smelled bad, and acted completely disengaged. I showed him a photo of the valve I needed and instead of helping, he simply said he couldn’t assist without measurements and made no effort to guide me. I then asked another employee for help. This person was also unprofessional and, unbelievably, was burping while assisting me. That is disgusting behavior in a customer-facing business. This location has no customer service, no professionalism, and no basic standards of hygiene or respect. Management should be embarrassed. I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid this store.

Terrible customer service from the staff—specifically the person making the keys and the cashier—who were extremely disrespectful and ill-mannered. Today, May 4, 2026, I left feeling truly dissatisfied; I have been a customer at this store for years, but they simply do not know how to treat people. They should find jobs that don't involve dealing with the public. I will never return to this place.

I ordered 2 products on line and used the option of curbside delivery as indicated on the website. An email was received to advise one item had been delivered and ready for pickup. Upon my arrival I placed a call to the store number and requested curbside delivery and was advised that that was not something they offered. After a discussion with the sales associate (who asked someone) was again told they would not do curbside. Mind you I was right in front of the store, item was paid for and would have taken 20 seconds to deliver to me. I am handicapped and ordered from this store because of curbside. As I had made the trip and it already paid, I found a parking place got out of the car, walked to the store and picked up the small purchase. As this employee was new gave him the benefit of not knowing store policy. On my way out asked him to recheck. He raised his voice across some aisles asking the question. Several customers were in the store and he spoke to ‘Carlos’ . Carlos refirmed that was their policy. When I spoke about website etc, Carlos said that he couldn’t control that and would he like me to do? So very rude, did not approach me, or respond in any helpful manner- but with attitude of too bad. I raised this issue with corporate customer service and was that each store was individually owned and not individually managed. So my response and recourse is not to shop where customers are not appreciated and treated with respect.

As my husband is deployed I have to do errands with my two children. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Even carried the potting soil to my car. Couldn’t ask for a better local hardware store!

Staff wouldn't honor the price listed on the shelf, asked if I wanted it and when i said yes, then I paid what it cost. Won't shop there any longer.
