This Ace is so great! Every associate has always been so friendly & helpful when I needed it. I just opened a little spa suite in the plaza and needed a lot of paint supplies & things and it’s so convenient it’s there. I love their selection and the location so much.

Coming into town from Washington DC, I needed to procure a 6 Ft ladder and lock for a government location. The rental car was to small to load the ladder, however, the team at Shep's Grant Park Ace Hardware offered solutions to the issue. With their assistance, I was able to procure the ladder online and have it delivered to the building location. Due to the complexity getting into the government building loading docks (lots of paperwork and time), Shep's Grant Park Ace Hardware allowed the delivery to happen near the building where I was able to walk the ladder into the office. The purchase of the lock was handled at the store. Were I to come back to Atlanta and have need of tools and/or supplies, I will be heading to Shep's Grant Park Ace Hardware for my needs. They (all staff) did make a great effort to assist me.

I think they’re great if you’re not a person of color. Each time I go in they’ve tracked me and others that I’ve seen around the store. When help was needed, they were nowhere to be found or very curt. I once asked for a key to be made by hand because the machines never get the depth right. The person proceeded to make the key with the machine, even though I stressed twice that I wanted it by hand. He just ignored me. The key was also 7.99, which is obscene compared to any other place, by hand or machine.

The Lady at the counter was curt and inattentive. She suggested we wait in the cold "while she finds someone" for a propane tank. Just a rude. The nice gentleman came to the rescue with an Awesome personality and smile to assist. I'll be hesitant to seek her assistance...

Shep is the best. He stayed after closing time to help me purchase the best chainsaw for my needs. He never rushed the process, even registering the product for me online. I've been able to tackle some long overdue yard work with ease because I have the right equipment now. Thanks again Shep!!
