Very disappointed with the customer service at this store. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. No one was willing to help, and it felt like any question was an inconvenience to them. On top of that, their return policies are absurd and completely inflexible, even when the issue isn’t the customer’s fault. Definitely not a pleasant experience or a place I would want to return to. There are plenty of other stores that actually value and respect their customers.

Really happy to have hardware store so close to home. Everyone has been really helpful when I go in! I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and last time I went I was even given a stool to wait while my paint was being mixed. That’s true customer service right there.

More than just a hardware store!! The Fun Department is full of great gift items and one or two things for yourself to enjoy. Friendly staff, and a great selection of hardware needs.

I recently purchased an EGO 56V trimmer/blower combo from this Ace Hardware location and was disappointed with the trimmer’s performance after a single use. When I attempted to return or exchange the item shortly after purchase, I was told the store would not accept it because it had been used once. I understand stores have policies on outdoor equipment, but I was surprised there was no effort to work with me on an exchange, store credit, or customer satisfaction solution for a premium product that was essentially brand new. I’ve always expected better customer service from a local Ace Hardware, especially compared to larger chain stores that are often more flexible with returns. Unfortunately, this experience left me frustrated and hesitant to shop here again.

Very helpful - great customer service. Jody was so kind and patient with me and helped me get the right color match for my bedroom wall using a paint can label from 2014. It took 3 tries, but Jody did it!!! Henry, Eddie and Jarrett were the support staff who were also patient and professional. It makes a huge difference going to Metairie Ace for their knowledge, professionalism and supreme service, highly recommend Metairie Ace
