I just finished reading a book called "East of Troost", and am now reading "Still Needs Work" both by Ellen Barker. This store is mentioned in the books and even though the books are both novels and not non-fiction I feel like there is a lot of truth to the story and now I want to come to this store. I live about 60 miles east of this store, it is not out of the possibility that I will be there one of these days. The author really makes the store come alive.

Great locally owned hardware store with staff that really knows what they are doing and how to help you. There are not a lot of places like this left so be sure to visit them for all your plumbing and home repair items.

I might have already left a review but they deserve another one if I did. They sell kerosene at the pump which is literally the difference between life and death for me in the winter and just nice to know where to get it any other time too. The guy that pumps it is really nice and I just really appreciate this store
