I love this place. The people there are super knowledgeable but also give you space if you know what you need. I had an issue with paint one time and the manager personally called me and went above and beyond to fix it. Great staff!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that can actually help you troubleshoot problems. On multiple occasions they have pointed me to simple solutions that the internet failed to provide to issues from stripped dry wall anchors to plumbing concerns etc. Really appreciate the staff and clean store.

This store has the worst staff ever. Each time we check out it takes them for ever to figure out how to ring anything up. We always have to wait on several people to come behind the counter to get it down. We had a return on a charge account, they couldn’t lookup when we purchased it, the old lady said maybe you bought it 4 years ago and it’s out of warranty, but the store has only been open for a year. How stupid can she be saying we bought it 4 years ago. Then I asked for email receipt she printed one. She didn’t know how to email it. Then I was back few minutes later buying something else, I asked her to please make sure that get an email receipt, she got nervous and started getting load, a manager noticed how she was talking came over and asked me what the problem was, before I can explain to him that All I need is an email receipt, I didn’t even get a chance to say anything to him, she right away hit load again talking to him about what happened, I was lady he asked me what happened not you, why are you running your mouth. Got very upset about how she acted and told her off and left the store mad. I called the commercial manager who I deal with all the time, before Zi even said anything to him he asked me not to go inside the store again and that he didn’t want to do business with me. He said that we always have an attitude when me or one of my guys go there to shop. But he didn’t know that we get very frustrated because his people don’t know how to ring stuff up on charge account, don’t know how to access our discount account and always keep us waiting for them to figure out their job. Now we are prevented from shopping there because we get frustrated with their customer service. We only shop there because they are closer to us, but their prices are twice as much as anywhere else, but we were welling to pay the higher prices because it’s easier to get it from them than drive down to Lowe’s or Homedepo. I never seen anything like this in my life, when a customer complain about how stupid the customer service is, they prevented us from shopping there instead of apologizing and fix their problems. The way the store staff acted and the way Heston the commercial manager acted they don’t belong in business and they need to be trained on how to treat customers and don’t escalate issues with customers to the level to blow gaskets. Don’t make any business sense. I wish that higher management get involved and investigate their staff and their business on treating customers. They owe us an apology and ask us to do business with them again.

I’ve always had a great experience at Westlake Ace Hardware. The store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. It feels like a small-town hardware store where they actually remember you and care about your project. Highly recommended for anyone who values quality service and convenience!
