This place truly has it all! It's been awhile since I've been in an Ace Hardware and I truly missed it. When I walked in the cashier made me feel like I've been there before and was part of the family! I personally don't like to be bothered when I shop and they left me alone but when I needed help they were there which was amazing. The shop was clean and organized and well stocked!

I came into Ace to buy some patio chairs, ( they were on sale) Had few laughs trying to get them in my car & it just wasn't happening- I took them back into the store, telling them I couldn't fit them in my car and would pick them up tomorrow, the manager asked where I lived and said we will deliver them 10 mins later my chairs were at my house. Thank you Ace hardware for great customer service!!!!

I went into this particular Aca hardwood to purchase 2 towels. Minding my business i located the aisle where they are found and proceeded to grab them and make my way to the register. I was then asked by if I needed help finding anything by the clerk in the paint department and I replied no. I make my way to the register to check out. The cashier asked if I have a reward card and I say no. I start looking for a snack and he proceeds to tell me about soups that are really good that they carry. I'm like okay maybe I'll try some the next time I'm in. He rings me out and I leave. I sit in the parking lot for maybe 5 minutes before I pull out but as I'm pulling out of the plaza a police officer is speeding in. I don't think anything of it so I continue. Then the police turns around and gets behind me. I stop where I am thinking I must be in his way. Them he yells over the loud speaker for me to pull over to the right. I do so. He gets out of his car with his hands on his gun, walks to my car and tells me to give him my ID. I ask him what's the problem he says you're just leaving from Ace right. I say yes and told him why I was in there. Be says ACE DOESN'T WANT YOU BACK IN THERE STORE! I ask why and he says give me your ID, either give me your ID of you're going to jail. I say but what have I done wrong? He said he's running a investigation! I say for what? He doesn't tell me anything but continues to ask for my ID. So I finally give him my ID he runs me and comes back to my van and says wrong person have a nice day. I was so angry!!!! So I go back into Ace and ask to speak to the manager. They then tell me that someone right after I left was stealing and ran out with a book bag and that they didn't even give the cops a description!!! Now I don't understand that at all because how did he just pull me over without any description?? Their was no apologies on there part about it. They just said it's not our fault. We can't control what the cops do. We just told them that someone was stealing. And that makes no sense!! Because how does the cop just pull over a black guy in a large white van if there was no description given! I'm preparing to have my attorney's to review the video because something about this doesn't feel right!

The management is awful. Not just to customers, but to the older, female employees. Refusing sales, refusing restrooms, refusing to do decent by the city they do business with. With so many other options, and this economic times, you would think they would want to keep their business open.

I did an online order and when I went to pick it up, I asked a lady and young gentleman at the front register if they carved car keys. They both said yes, but that I would have to buy my key from there, they weren't sure on the prices exactly and said I would have to go to the key booth, no problem, I was fine with that and so I proceeded to go over to the key booth and there was another lady there, she asked if I needed any help, I said I need to get a car key carved, she said, "we don't do key fobs", I said I don't need a key fob, it's a regular car key", she then said, "we don't do car keys"! I said, "the young man and lady up front BOTH told me that you do car keys" , I said," Google also says you do car keys", she said, "no, we only do house keys." This is the second time I've gone to the Parma location, on Ridgewood Dr in the Parma Shoppes by Walmart and the person that was working the key booth lied to my face so they didn't have to do any work. I didn't catch the ladies name because she was moving around while talking to me, but I will be reaching out to corporate or whoever oversees that location! I have Googled it and even called in advance and when I get there, the associate refuses to do it. Both times it was around 1-2 pm, so it's not like I was going right before closing or when they are slammed with customers, I was the only customer and there were 3 of them just in the front. Is this really what it's come to in our country? Has entitlement infected so many people that you can't even PAY to get a job done that a place advertises doing and they just comfortably lie to your face! The sad thing is, there were 3 employees all within 20 ft of each other and I was the ONLY customer and still couldn't get anyone to carve a key for me!
