I typically buy all my home needs from Home Depot, but as I was next door at Dave's, I decided to come to this store and buy a deadbolt lock which was on sale. I ended up returning this item days later as I changed my mind on it due to the reviews. Purchased this lock for $35 and upon returning it only got a refund of $12 (never used, never oped, all stickers on it). Asked why was that the case, noone at the counter could explain it clearly. I was told a manager was going to call me back, never did. It is NOT a matter of a $23 that they did not refund, but a matter of customer service and how this store communicates and resolves minor issues like that. I can only imagine what's its like to talk to them if you have a major one. BUYER BE AWARE, if you buy something there you better keep it, or take your business to a bigger chain where customer service, if you need it, is a priority for them.

Best place to find what you need for a project! Staff are knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. Ace carries items specific to our area, too, so when something breaks in our 1947 home, they'll usually have the right replacement. No having to wander through a giant warehouse going from one end to the other to get the department & parts I need & where staff are impossible to find :( I usually start out with Ace, then if they don't have what I need (rare ) I'll go to one of the bigger places (like Home Depot or Lowe's). Plus, with Ace rewards I save extra $ on every visit! :)

This location is very friendly and helpful store when you go in or call. When I bought a grill from the store they were very helpful in helping us pick the right one (and I ask a lot of questions). They also assembled it, delivered and installed it. The ACE hardware app which is not a store app and so I didn't factor this in my review is woefully lacking in many ways. It is the reason I don't shop at the store more often. I like to research and compare products online before I order them or visit a hardware store. Product details and reviews in the app are woefully inadequate.
