Horribly disappointed. I've been working on a creative project for a local public school district and we needed one more can of spray paint. My colleague called ahead because we knew we were cutting it close to the time that they closed and asked if they could please let us in to just buy this one can of spray paint to which they were incredibly flippant and incompassionate. Because of the traffic lights I made it there at 4:01 and was not permitted to enter by the gentleman standing at the door to get the ONE can of spray paint that we needed to finish the project. After being turned away, as I was sitting in my car trying to figure out another plan, I proceeded to watch him continue to let people come out of the store and a another couple INTO the store. Again, one can of spray paint was all that new we needed to finish this major project which we knew exactly where it was located in the store. We were even willing to pay for it over the phone so that we could just run in and grab it. They couldn't give me one additional minute of their time. This is all on a Sunday and there are no other hardware stores open in the area that carry this specific Ace brand spray paint. Now I'm forced to add an initial 40 minutes to an hour of drive time which takes away from our project time (not to mention also the insane price of gas) just to get a bottle of spray paint that I could have had within less than a minute at a close location. I'm disappointed by the lack of empathy shown today and will not be back for any additional purchases.

Great experience as usual; scooped up some paint + supplies for a kitchen project and the paint desk clerk was SO helpful and knowledgeable. Friendly too!

I typically buy all my home needs from Home Depot, but as I was next door at Dave's, I decided to come to this store and buy a deadbolt lock which was on sale. I ended up returning this item days later as I changed my mind on it due to the reviews. Purchased this lock for $35 and upon returning it only got a refund of $12 (never used, never oped, all stickers on it). Asked why was that the case, noone at the counter could explain it clearly. I was told a manager was going to call me back, never did. It is NOT a matter of a $23 that they did not refund, but a matter of customer service and how this store communicates and resolves minor issues like that. I can only imagine what's its like to talk to them if you have a major one. BUYER BE AWARE, if you buy something there you better keep it, or take your business to a bigger chain where customer service, if you need it, is a priority for them.

It’s definetely changed as far as customer service. The”.regular” employees that were with Dunn are great…. Others not so. I walked out without purchasing because check out lady was so rude

Got trash bags for work. The customer service is awesome, very friendly and helpful. Noticed their spice rack, was surprised 😮 to see it at the checkout line. I would never expect that! So cool 😎 I like this store!
