This hardware store is large in size and it has an ok inventory, so on paper it should be a reliable place to get what you need. Unfortunately, my last visit was pretty disappointing. I was walking around for a while trying to find a specific item and I could not locate it. What stood out to me was that no one approached me to ask if I needed help. There were at least two, maybe three employees who were not actively working with customers at the time, and I still felt completely on my own. In a store this size, that makes the shopping experience frustrating fast, because you end up wasting time wandering aisles instead of getting quick guidance and moving on. When I finally approached an employee for assistance, the help was minimal. She did not walk me over to the area or take a moment to make sure she understood what I was looking for. She just pointed in a general direction and that was basically it. It felt like she was trying to end the interaction as quickly as possible rather than actually helping me solve the problem. I understand everyone has off days and stores get busy, but this was not a case of them being overwhelmed. It was a case of not being attentive and not being very customer focused. Overall I was not impressed, and unless customer service improves, I would probably try another hardware store first.

Better than any of the big stores and has super helpful and friendly staff. We are currently working on a big DIY project and have been visiting the store frequently, all employees have been very friendly and helpful but a special shoutout to Nick who goes above and beyond!!

Because THEY dont have pennies I take the loss?!?! Seriously! Its not about the few cents...but the principal of it! I should have been given a nickel and THEY shouldnt have stolen from me! I will never shop this Ace again...if they are willing to steal a few cents from every cash paying customer buying a small item then I certainly do not trust them in my bigger purchases...thieves! No more. Hope the few cents were worth all the negative reviews and at least 2 lost customers! Theives! To avoid the comments: transaction ended with .87.....so it should have been rounded down to .85....with .15 change...i was given .10 change. "The most recommended form of rounding is symmetrical rounding whereby if the final digit of the total transaction amount (including taxes) is 1, 2, 6, or 7 cents, the amount is rounded down to the nearest multiple of five." I guarantee if I purchase something for 10.52 and walk out after handing them a 10 dollar bill and 2 quarters they would be calling the cops on me for stealing! ** UPDATE** your s.a. response shows you missed my point!

They have 2" diameter high temp plastic water pipe/hose that I couldn't find at Home Depot. Lot of hidden treasures here. The have rescued my home project... 👍😅

I rented a 10’ box van and shopped for my new apartment. The clean in great condition van was perfect for my modest moving needs (bed and couch were delivered). Customer service over the phone to make the reservation, and in person to sign out the van and return it 3 hours later was expedient & friendly. I had key copies made, purchased many cleaning products and household goods, including a sturdy metal edge yellow snow shovel, Gorilla tape, and bars of manly soap. Coupons for signing up for their customer program were valuable. The ACE Hardware staff is knowledgeable, good natured & helpful. John Madden would be proud.
