Ace Hardware on Coventry consistently saved me time and money finding the household repair items I needed. The staff is highly expert and provides close personal attention to the needs of every customer, every day. It's a small store but has 90% of the items most homeowners need coupled with a knowledgeable staff who'll help you find it in under 2 minutes. Far superior service than what the big box stores offer.

First and last time I'll ever give this place my business! I was trying to look for a very thin wrench. I'd tried some other wrenches from other places, but they were all too thick to fit the crevice I needed. Well, I mentioned this predicament to the sales associate who quickly showed me a wrench, WITHOUT mentioning that this store does not accept returns! Lo and behold, the wrench I purchased was still too thick to fit, and now I'm swindled some hard earned cash because the employee, knowing that I was trying different tools, neglected to mention a store policy. Shame on you. You should make the no returns policy much clearer before purchase.

I had sets of canning jars to pick up and did not realize that the curbside service option was no longer available. The store employee, without skipping a beat, offered to bring my order to the car and was absolutely pleasant about doing so. I had a child with mobility issues with me so the thought of parking, making him walk to the store, and then trying to manage the order on my own was stressful. I cannot thank Heights Hardware enough for the great service. The staff and service are beyond amazing.

So I'm hoping to avoid buying an new desk lamp ($40 on Amazon) and email them asking if they can repair what I've got, and at what price. Sure, they say, probably no more than $25. I'm all for saying the bucks, so I bring it in and the guy looks at it and says, "You know, I can sell you the parts and you can repair it yourself, and I can show you how to do it." He showed me, sold me $3.99 of parts, and I'm writing this review to the glow of my repaired lamp! What great people! Thank you, Heights Hardware!
