I have been a 30 year customer here. The Guthrie's are a good family in general and the staff, especially Vanessa the sweetest and kindest manager, are outstanding. Very helpful from when you walk in the door. I had a special issue for an online purchase that Vanessa went above and beyond to try to solve for me and even the owner Cole helped out. I Love to support the local small businesses like this. In general People just don't care to help or be kind anymore but this is refreshing. Thanks so much

What a store! Friendly staff always ready to help, everything I need for my home, including knife sharpening! Iv'e gone here for a ladders, command strips, shower head, you name it! My rewards account got lost somehow so I had to start a new one :/

I visit Guthrie’s Ace Hardware frequently for various home projects. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I truly like to learn how to repair things myself and the staff here always goes out of their way to help explain and teach me the things I need to know to get the job done. Highly recommend!

We stopped by Guthrie’s Ace Hardware shortly after purchasing our new home to pick up paint samples, and the experience was excellent from the start. The staff helped us right away—no waiting around for samples to be mixed—and they were both efficient and knowledgeable. When we came back to purchase the actual paint, Nessa took the time to help us calculate exactly what we needed so we didn’t overspend or end up with excess. That level of attention really stood out. I also had to bring my kids along on one visit, which can sometimes be stressful, but the team was incredibly kind and welcoming. They handled the extra energy with total ease. Overall, a great experience—helpful, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Highly recommend.

Incredible service. Marty and Vanessa helped my diagnose my issues with screws and then helped me find the perfect screws and tools! Very friendly. Best place in Nashville to shop for hardware. Awesome people and the store covers every need
