This location is one of the best Ace hardware stores I have been to. They have the most helpful and kind employees.

This was my favorite hardware place until one day around Christmas time my daughters and I were accused of stealing a $2.99 lanyard. When my daughters and I gotten to Ace, I was looking for a special adapter for my Christmas outdoor lights. The first thing my daughter wanted to look at was at lanyards because she needed a new one for work since her old one was tearing, she didn’t like the ones she was looking at, so I said “it’s ok, we can go to a different store with more selections”, so we decided to look at Christmas decor, as we were looking, we were approached my male worker, he was abt in his 80’s, and he said “ yall need some help?” And I said no sir, thank you though”, and I smiled at him cause he reminded me of my father that I recently lost, and he said that me and kids needed to clear out our pockets because someone seen us put a lanyard in our pockets. Me and my kids were puzzled and confused, we thought it was some kind of prank, I said “no sir we don’t steal, “ but I’ll be gladly to show you that don’t have anything on us”, and we all cleared out our pockets to prove we weren’t stealing, then this heavy set Hispanic lady with glasses, she must been in her late 20s or early 30s told me and my daughters that we had to leave after the fact we prove we weren’t stealing, no one in the store apologized to us, and the workers made a scene by standing together huddled up and looking me and daughters strangely, customers were staring and me and my kids like if a crime was committed. I never in my life felt so humiliated like that, I will never go back to that store even though if it brings back memories of my late father. I’m very disappointed and that lady needs some training.

Great store!! So helpful and friendly! No need to chase an associate down here or beg for help they are always available to answer questions or make suggestions.
