Friendly, neighborhood hardware and gift shop. I'm glad to see a locally owned store like this is thriving in this day and age of online and big box competition. They are part of the Do it Best family of stores. 'Do it' makes many fine hardware products. I like going to the neighborhood store when I need an item or items to complete a project. The knowledgeable sales associates are available and know where everything is located. It saves a lot of walking and wasted time. Stores like this are also a good place to just browse. You might see something you need, or something that would make a good 🎁.

This hardware store is stocked with hardwares and gifts easy parking and great location in the Heights . The staff helpful and informative. It is well stocked and clean. A first choice in Heights avoid the crush of big box stores

Great store and very knowledgeable and helpful sales associates. I feel like a kid in a candy store whenever I get a chance to shop at C&D.

Inventory is good, there’s a fair variety of hardware. Employees are odd, walked in and was met with straight faces and a strange energy. One employee pulled up a chair next to me as I was looking through things and stared. Tried smiling to ease the tension but the man wasn’t in a good mood I guess. If you’re a young adult in Houston ditch the ma and pas and just order through Amazon. Save your energy and money + less bad experiences.
