I love this place. We’ve lived down the street for almost 12 years now, and I’ve been coming to this Ace Hardware the entire time. Yes sometimes you might have to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s for lumber or something bigger, but this Ace Hardware pretty much has everything you could possibly need for your home projects. But beyond all that the people that work there are incredibly kind, incredibly helpful. always have a smile and I’m so thankful that this little hardware store is in North Central Phoenix like it is. Just today I went there and all I needed was a little rubber washer for a new toilet we got that was missing one. This guy took five minutes to look at all the different ones they have to get the one that matched the most, and that meant a lot, and I appreciate it. Toilet installed perfectly!

Popped into Ace Hardware this past weekend after brunch (because who doesn’t like to follow mimosas with a little home improvement?). I was looking for something specific… except I had no idea what it was called, what it looked like, or where to begin. Just me, standing there in my brunch best, radiating confusion in aisle three. Enter Antonio—gorgeous, helpful, and probably the closest thing Ace has to a superhero. He saw the desperation on my face, swooped in like he’d been training for this moment, and within two minutes had helped me find exactly what I needed. Did I actually use it yet? No. But was it the right thing? Absolutely. Do I need to go back soon for something else I’ll pretend not to know the name of? …Also yes. Antonio was quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and did it all with a smile that deserves its own five-star rating. If you see this, Antonio—don’t be a stranger. Or do, so I have an excuse to get flustered at the lightbulb section again. 10/10 will be back. For tools. And maybe for love.

Came to get paint matched and no one would come to the paint desk had to go find someone, and no one really seemed to know anything about paint or matching paint. I feel like you should have at least one paint professional on? Especially if there’s what 4 isles of the store dedicated to paint lol

This is the great store great customer service. The gentleman who helped me out his name is Kyle. I really do appreciate you. This is a store. I really recommend you to come when it comes to advice on nuts and bolts. Thank you so much, Ace Hardware

I’ve always found the people here to be very helpful and very knowledgeable. Not everyone is very knowledgeable about everything in the store but they’re not afraid to ask associates and get the right answer for you. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than going to a Home Depot or Lowe’s but it’s local, fast, convenient, and it gets the job done for me. Bonus: there’s a giant checker set in the middle of the store. It’s very easy to bring the kids and let them play checkers while I bebop through the isles and pick up what I need
