Thank you for your response and for clarifying the store’s return policy regarding food and consumable items. I understand and acknowledge that businesses have policies in place regarding non-returnable products, and my concern was never solely about whether the pie itself could be returned. My primary concern remains the conduct and professionalism displayed during the interaction. The comments regarding “how long I’ve been in California” were unnecessary and unrelated to the return itself. I came into the store calmly trying to understand the policy and did not believe personal remarks were appropriate in a customer service interaction. Additionally, the behavior involving the employee kneeling sarcastically in front of me and publicly saying “please sir, I’m so sorry” in a mocking manner was humiliating and escalated the situation unnecessarily. Regardless of any misunderstanding surrounding the return policy, I do not believe any customer should be publicly embarrassed or mocked while attempting to ask questions about a transaction. I also remain concerned about the handling of the product itself. The pie was ultimately “thrown” away then taking out, all before I was provided any documentation or receipt regarding the refund process. This added to the confusion and discomfort of the situation. While I appreciate that management attempted to resolve the matter through a refund exception, I feel the response focused primarily on store policy while only broadly addressing the conduct that occurred. My intention in bringing this matter forward was to address the professionalism, treatment, and public embarrassment experienced during the interaction. I do appreciate that you stated the situation will be reviewed internally and that professional communication expectations will be reinforced moving forward. That acknowledgment is important to me, and I hope this feedback helps prevent similar interactions from happening to other customers in the future. I have a photo of her crawling on the floor. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We came in with a wheelchair that was broken by American Airlines while traveling to California. These wonderful people helped us for about an hour to remove stripped bolt heads to replace the broken wheel. Thanks to their wonderful service, my daughter is able to enjoy the Anaheim theme parks. If you are in the area, don’t go anywhere else!

Love going to Ace hardware The people that work there are friendly and helpful. They always have what you need, literally from plumbing to electrical to gifts for anybody in the family it's absolutely great

Don’t let Becca help you, very rude. Tried to trespass me over a return called the cops and everything!! They have better things to do with their time girl. Why waste all of ours, definitely shouldn’t be acting that way. (Update) It wasn’t used just opened, Two she was incredibly rude regardless of the policies, I did say I understand you dont write the policies and I was about to leave. Again no big deal, just illogical, she then mocked me, I may not seem like it, but wishing sarcastically to have a better day, ironically the foot-note to your reply! I don’t think that’s a coincidence, being that was a tipping point of the conversation Nothing was thrown, wild exaggeration of the truth. I was about to leave too, understandable, but then she had to go and be sarcastic and rude to which I replied im about to be rude. She then said now you have to leave and then immediately jumped on the phone with Fullerton pd, giving them a description, i said my name is sohl, they know me. I wont be returning; not bc you just asked me. Simply because you don’t deserve my hard earned money. I hope you use this opportunity to examine your staff as well, I was ready to leave but the sideways remarks from your management, which were initiated on your end are totally uncalled for. I mentioned this experience to my employee Robert, and how she described me as irate(also wildly untrue). He casually said I’ve never seen you irate with anyone, I wish I was there. Who was this! So again, won’t be returning, and I decided that before you tried to tender a reply. I did call to let her know she in fact does suck. Call it what you will, but she lied to my face and called the police on me. Not because the policy (again tool was unused.) Thats a character defect of which shouldn’t be used while at work. Also come on, using children in the store as a moral high ground. Sad; The phrase you suck, last time I checked isn’t profanity, and I’m sure you are just defending one side of this story. Tool wasnt sharp or thrown, but the defamation of my character is very real. If anything do a little better in your training. I was floored when she threatened me with police, none of you know it, but I did years in prison, not cool guys. Definitely won’t be back 🤙🏻 and that’s my choice The nepotism must be crippling, im sorry even if she was my daughter I’d fire her for the was she was behaving towards a client. Sorry she’s the way she is, hopefully she doesn’t cost you too many more customers!! Btw i posted a pic of the item she wouldn’t return, the large heavy sharp item I threw… 😂😂😂 you have got to be kidding me you act like I’m slinging ninja stars! Wont have to worry about me anymore that’s a promise 💯 it was like less than 10$ too not the end of the world Becca, just really rude. Guess what, my day was full of more work. Thanks for the excitement ace!!
