Went to Ace Hardware for some dimmable bulb for a floor lamp. The other big store didn’t have it. So happy that Ace still carried this bulb, not a fan of the new led bulbs for this vintage lamp. It matched perfectly with the other 2 bulbs that I was trying to match with.

Staff knows their stuff - unlike Home Depot and Lowe's. I take my "unique" problems here - this time i needed a rubber washer for 5 gallon gasoline rubber container that was discontinued in 2009. The staff suggested i try using a Rescue Tape to wrap around where the broken washer went. I never heard of rescue tape or anything that could be used for gasoline and electrical and was waterproof, airtight and heat resistant. I learned something new.

Staff was helpful and friendly. I also kinda like the stores layout too. From the outside it looks a lot smaller than it actually is. Got what I needed at a reasonable price, had a fun exchange with the lady at the register on the topic of tattoos, and I left. Pleased with the service and purchase :)

Best ACE with the nicest staff. I just moved nearby and have visited maybe 5 times in 2 weeks including to rend a carpet steamer. I later sprained my ankle and they even came out to my van to retrieve the Bissell. Everyone inside has been super helpful with keys, finding stuff, and general knowledge. Love it.

I used to love coming here but I will no longer be doing so. My cashier Aaliyah was so rude and seems absolutely miserable. Maybe this is not the job for her. I put in the wrong loyalty number and she rolled her eyes at me and huffed and puffed and had to start the transaction over and was slamming my stuff around and was super rude to the other worker. She didn’t ask me if I wanted to try a number again so I wasn’t able to collect my points. I don’t know what was going on with this girl today but don’t take it out on the customer. She held my receipt out and said “want this?” And I said yes please then dropped it on the counter after I went to grab it. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her life and like I shouldn’t even be there.
