I came across this website looking for a carpenter to replace a water-damaged shelf underneath the bathroom sink. I sent an email and received a response from Blake the next day. I explained the situation, and he responded that they do that kind of work. Made the appointment, and Blake gave me the name of the person who would be coming out. Shiva arrived right on time, a very nice, friendly, and courteous guy. He assessed the damage, told us what it would cost, and how long it would take. We told him, okay, and he got right to work. He was done in the time he said it would take and also cleaned up the mess. The shelf turned out just as we had hoped. We will be using Ace Handyman Services in the future. The service technician was extremely professional and friendly. He was upfront and direct about the job from the start, set clear expectations, and delivered excellent results. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and would highly recommend.

Performance was less than expected. Quality of work was poor. Was super slow and left the door in worse condition than before he started. One of the doors now rattles back-and-forth with any breeze. He cut the door down too much and now there’s air going through the top. He supposedly repaired one of the hinges and left the jam cracked and unrepaired. He was extremely slow and ended up costing us way more than we ever imagined. We had an entire wall restructured and re-tiled for less than what we were charged For helping to adjust four doors and hang blinds. I have never seen anything like this! I’ve been in construction since October and this is by far my worst experience. I only paid because I had no choice. And I just needed him to get done and he was extremely slow and the quality of the work is not anything to brag about.

We had an amazing experience with Ace Handyman Services North County! Blake installed our new closet doors, and they completely transformed our room—making it feel fresh and new. We initially thought we could handle the installation ourselves, but once the doors and all the pieces arrived, we quickly realized it was more than we could take on, especially with a new baby. Blake was fantastic—he coordinated everything seamlessly and got the doors up quickly and professionally. He was not only skilled but also incredibly kind and easy to work with. We are so grateful for his help and absolutely love how the doors turned out. This is a really handy service that I was previously not aware of. If you have any maintenance/carpentry/etc. jobs you can get a quote and have someone perform them. I had them out several times to take care of everything from installing a screen door to replacing a porch light to fixing a cabinet door. Both Alex and Blake are very nice. Blake especially did a great job explaining to me how the program works. Really appreciate them!
