This Hardware is a must-see if you're in San Francisco. It's like stepping back in time. The staff is friendly. The store is well organized and well stocked. We enjoyed browsing and found the phone charger we were looking for. If we hadn't been flying with carryon bags only, I would have made more purchases.

If you’re looking for a hardware store in the city, you’ve come to the right place. Their products can be useful at times, specially when your apartment’s maintenance team falls behind. Bought my first hammer at this location. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The lady on the phone was very helpful and patient. Once I got there, the young man was also extremely helpful. They both understood what I needed after my convoluted explanation. I will return as they were not condescending to me - as has happened in other hardware stores.

Spencer, Damien and Oscar including the front desk were amazing consistently helpful every time on my project and I really appreciate the great service at this Kohl’s. Thanks a lot guys. These people need a raise.

I asked before purchasing these clamps whether I could return or exchange them if they didn’t work for my project, and no one informed me that they were non-returnable or explained the policy. If I had known this beforehand, I would have chosen differently. The items were barely used and essentially still new, so being refused a return was very disappointing. Clear communication about store policies should be provided at the time of purchase.
