This store has the best customer service! I placed an online order for in-store pickup and was not able to get the order within the timeframe. I really wanted the order so I called and spoke to a really nice gentleman on the phone and asked if I could provide a prepaid shipping label so they could send the items to me. They agreed! Toby helped me and shipped it out the same day. Best service ever. Thank you so much!

I was ignored repeatedly by the guy behind the counter when looking for help. He didn’t even lift his head to acknowledge I was there. When I told another employee how that was poor customer service, he told me “Find another hardware store”. Trust and believe I’m taking his advice and anyone else should as well. Train your employees to have common courtesy.

Big thank you to Geoffery. Was out walking with my 3 month old and wife when stroller wheel fell off. Sent wife and baby for a quick class of wine at Golden Sardine down the street. Geoffery helped me replace the missing bolt and send us on our way. We were without our car seat and baby carrier we would have had to carry her 1.5 miles back home.

I showed the employee a box that was on the shelf in the store, and it had a used bulb inside. I asked him to help me find the same type of bulb with the same wattage, since I needed to buy four of them. He said, “Why are you asking me about this?” I said, “Because you work here.” He asked, “Where did you get it from?” I showed him where I got it. He put the box on the shelf and said, “Now look which box you need to take.” I said, “There is no 10-watt here, and that’s why I asked you if you could find this bulb for me.” He said, “That’s not my job.” This was the most shockingly awful service I have ever encountered in an American store. It’s basically a way to push the customer out of the store. It’s terrible service. I wouldn’t recommend asking employees if you have any questions.

I stopped by for the cheapest, most frivolous item: a single brick I needed for a project. And as I walked through the aisles hopelessly wandering, one of the employees came to my rescue. And even though they didn’t have what I was looking for, the long haired gentleman recommended a store less than half a mile away where I found exactly what I was looking for. 10 star customer service- that meant a lot!!!
