I’ve never heard that someone needs to be certified to sell a chainsaw I was waiting at the Stihl desk for almost 10 minutes before being acknowledged and I was told they couldn’t sell me a chainsaw because he or I wasn’t certified. Yes he actually said “You nor I wasn’t certified” to sell it. Literally went to a pawn shop and got a better deal and had a better experience

I was hoping to get s fishing license, but they do not sell them. I love all the spring flowers they had out for sale. There was also a food vender out front, the food was good so not a wasted trip.

I went to the Ace Hardware on Circle Street on June 20, 2025, here in Colorado Springs to purchase a used swamp cooler that the store had for sale. I am a business owner and i go to this Ace regularly for parts since it is close. I found that the swamp cooler was labeled as working and being sold "as is". I opened it up to make sure things were good and i found that i will be needing to perform some repairs and maintanance to get it to work properly. I went up front with the swamp cooler and asked for a manager so i can discuss the condition of the swamp cooler with them and the fact that it is labeled as working, yet it does not. Jim, the manager of this store, came up to me and was rude right away. I tried to calm him down and his response was to pull the swamp cooler away from me and begin to walk away with it, declairimg that "i must not want it". I did need it for my house, and i was ok with the price. I just wanted to know more information since it is used and they are selling it. I was able to get Jim to let me buy it. He went up front to moniter me and then communicated rudley to me at the registet after i had paid for it. I have PTSD and this is not good for me. I went home and had to calm down. Today, June 21, 2025, my girlfriend and i had to go back to the Ace Hardware on Circle Street to get parts for tge swamp cooler. Jim was at the door and stopped me. He addressed me aggressively and rudely. I thought he was going to kick me out. He then said, after i asked him what he is doing, that he was trying to appoligize. I recorded the incident today and i was only able to record the rudeness of the interaction i had with Jim at the register yesterday. Jim is not a good manager and he has triggered my trauma responses. I am trying still to recover from this. He does not deserve or understand the postition he has if he is going to treat people like this.

I needed a last minute wagon to help with my move.Ace was the only store that had one in stock under $100. I was so happy I raced to the store in Bon shopping center to be rudely told they had non. Their web site said they had one. On to the Ace on circle. I called and talked to Crystal who so nicely said she didn’t think they had one but she would check the back. A few minutes later Crystal said she had ONE. Had it at the register when I walked in. So nice she took that extra minute to check the back for me. That is a star employee !!!!!

I came here this morning to pick up a few things, and I was greeted by an employee named Allen. This guy has no business telling me to take off my mask in the most rude way, I immediately decided not to ever come here again. This place is trashy, everything is super marked up on price, the employees are not knowledgeable about anything home improvement. Allen is a horrible employee and not be anywhere near customers. Unfortunately I have to give this place a star but it doesn't even deserve that, I will be going to Home Depot from now on. DO NOT SHOP HERE IT'S TRASH!!!!
