Now completely closed on weekends! What the heck? This is a hardware store! So much for the weekend projects. That's like a church being closed on Sundays. SMH

I merely wished I had check customer's reviews before doing business with this location. 457 reviews 3.6 Star Rating The owner and his wife are extremely rude. I purchased a square Circuit Breaker with the help of one of their employees and at no time did they tell me that if it's the wrong one that I couldn't return it. I went back the same day to exchange for correct one, however, their store closed 5 mins early. I went to Home Depot and purchased the correct part for $17.00 vs $37.99. Today I returned to this store and immediately the owner's wife tells me no return on circuit breakers. The wife claimed she told me this yesterday and I told her to pull the camera recordings from yesterday. She didn't tell me that at all nor was it stamped on my receipt. In addition, they advised me that I couldn't return the unused Yeti Bottles. I purchased two for $30.00 each. I took a picture of the glass case that the cups are behind and no where does it state that. Elistway Ace Hardware: "Return policy: Merchandise is returnable within 30 days with a valid receipt from our store. Merchandise must be unopened, unused and sellable for a refund. Custom paint, custom glass cutting, special online orders and other services are non-refundable." The Yeti Bottles are unused and sellable. Elistway Ace Hardware location apparently is going through hard times and elect to scam customers out of their money. Elistway Ace Hardware needed $105.34 to gain a profit. I truly believe in Karma. Buyers beware and shop at your own Risk. If you have been scammed, I encourage you to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

My question is, why does ACE Hardware allow these people to maintain a franchise operation when they are below standards in just about every aspect? Perhaps they should rebrand as Dollar General, in that way, customer expections will be realistic. I walk away empty-handed 90% of the time when I am looking for simple Hardware items. This week was the last straw. I am done with this place.

Just now had my first and last time here - Specialty loose nuts and bolts was roped off (must have theft concerns). No person was available to help so I helped myself. After a couple of minutes the owner came around and threw an entire hissy fit at me threatening to kick me out and then some. I happily left on my own.

I love Ace Hardware. Most of them have super knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have things you could never get from big box lumber stores. This Ace has friendly staff but they have all the aisles roped off with no trespassing signs. It's a small Ace but has a great selection. Unfortunately I like to walk around and look. My husband and I actually make a lot of spontaneous purchases just from walking around the stores. Here they follow me around the whole store. There's no access to half the store. I just needed some toggle bolts and was across the street at Walgreens. But if I had to just go to get the bolts, I never would have stopped here.
