Luzbeth is phenomenal! I had an Amp Speaker that is battery powered, but the battery slot was unable to be opened because I stripped the screws, oops lol I brought it in and Luzbeth showed me the screws I needed to complete the job, but also took it upon herself to do it!! After she was finished, in only 15 minutes mind you, she showed me which tools she used, and even showed me where I could find more batter for my speaker. First time at this location and will definitely be back!

Sheryl Kosovski was absolutely amazing to work with. I was very indecisive throughout the wallpaper selection process, and she was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and knowledgeable the entire time. She really listened to what I was trying to achieve and offered such great opinions and interior design advice without ever making me feel pressured. You can tell she genuinely cares about the outcome and wants your space to feel right for you. My contractor recommended them, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my decision to purchase here. Highly recommend working with Sheryl if you want someone with both great design instincts and a warm, caring approach.

Shout-out to Nate at JC Licht True Value. Nate was exceptional—kind, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient with my many questions and requests. At a time when genuine customer service can feel rare, his professionalism truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, he was engaged, proactive, and focused on making sure I left with exactly what I needed. He absolutely restored my faith in outstanding customer care, and he deserves recognition for representing JC Licht so well. Employees like Nate are the reason customers return.

Gold standard for local hardware stores. Very curated by someone who does all types of work. Denise knows where everything is possibly quickly, today I went in for five things for five different projects and she was extremely helpful. I also appreciate that they curate which products they carry, most stuff in the store is high-quality and they have arranged of Goode stuff, all the way to the absolute best industry standard items

I'm new to the area and in the process of painting, and choosing color/s proved to be more time consuming and stressful than I'd thought. I've therefore been to the West Loop JC Licht store several times in the last couple of weeks, and everyone I've met has been super knowledgeable and helpful. Today while purchasing several gallons of paint, I received especially amazing service from Tad. Tad was very knowledgeable about color (and color altering like darkening); he patiently answered all of my questions and helped me make an informed paint decision. Tad also helped make my purchase more affordable by honoring the discount special I was supposed to have received through my previous review regarding this store. Ted mad me feel like a really valued client, and I appreciate his extra efforts and the kindness he showed me! I highly recommend the True Value/ JC Licht store in the West Loop. It's a great store with great staff!!
