I share the same sentiment as J Ucchinol. I have swore up and down about this location in the past. The employees were always helpful and knew their stuff but it is obvious that management is squeezing out these employees and things are starting to get worse. It's a shame because in Indianapolis we don't have many, if any specialized stores for anything. If you need a key cut or an M8 x 1.25 x 30mm (for example) bolt you basically have Ace, and that's it. Sure, there are others if you are willing to drive but my point is there. This place does not feel "small" anymore, it feels corporate now. I essentially went in to get a key cut, I had an OEM key in hand ready to go from Honda. I didn't need it programmed because I can program them myself and I've had this done numerous times in the past without issue because the employees used to know what they were doing, so I felt confident in coming here. They cut it wrong the first time and it jammed the ignition on my car in the parking lot and caused me to have to tow it home. It's a Honda ignition and they are particularly finicky about keys especially if not cut exactly right. I have the diagnostic tool but I don't have the cutting hardware and I shouldn't have to buy the cutting hardware, there should be a specialist in my community that can cut keys for me. I don't need to spend 4.00, I was ready and willing to spend up to 30 to get it done right but it wasn't done right. Once towed, I had to disassemble the steering column and drop the ignition cylinder and disassemble the cylinder to remove some bent wafers due to the mis-cut key to get it to work again. Mistakes happen for sure but I miss the skill and good attitude they possessed here in the past. That seems to be gone. In addition, the manager on duty (or what seemed like the manager) just had an overall bad attitude. She talked down to me like I was stupid for some reason and when the tow truck arrived to tow my car she waved at me like I was just a trashy individual who had a trashy car. No, you are the reason why I am towing my car away. The only reason I'm not making the store liable for the damages is because 1. I brought the key to you, so I assumed the risk and 2. I knew I could fix it or at the very least drop the cylinder to be fixed and the tow was free. But the attitude was unnecessary and degrading at best. I won't be coming back here for anything in the future, I will find a more specialized shop for my tasks going forward. I wish this location the best.

I called to find out if they carried Yedi coffee cup replacement lids. The woman said she would check. I sat on hold for over 10 minutes and was finally disconnected. The store is not that big and if she works there she should know their products.

Went at noon on a Tuesday. It was very quiet calm in the store and was met immediately with polite customer service. Found all that we needed plus a good BBQ Sauce on sale. I liked it here. More than likely will be back.

Accidentally popped a fuse in my MIL’s furnace when I was upgrading her Nest thermostat. No I didn’t turn off the power and shorted the hot wire when I pulled the frame off the wall. Needed a 5A automotive fuse and they had it. Called to check and was quickly directed to it upon entering the store.

Super helpful place & people! I inherited a nice bookshelf but the pegs for the shelf's were lost. I called to inquire whether they had shelf pegs and was told that they had 4 different kinds/sizes and that "most people found them to be what they needed and purchased them." When we got to the store, my daughter ran in before me, as I forgot the sample peg in the car. We were both greeted immediately and asked what we needed and walked to that isle, by the time I walked in my daughter was already being helped but the next employee greeted me and we were reunited in the parts isle. They had exactly what we needed & brought us right to it!
