As a business owner for most of my life and moving here in KS to see off my late father another business owner (across the street from you - Best Office Machine Repair) that closed up shop a decade or so ago, I am not one to leave negative reviews for the most part and though this is neutral, it will be deleted soon. I am just getting off my chest. Upfront, I apologize for my spirited way of forcing a hand to physically reach up and bring down what for months and many interaction has been shrugged off as, "oh our inventory is always off, because "x" number are shown as available online, does not mean we have them in stock here". Today having my first interaction with the person who helped me order items over and above what is shown as being in stock (but yet in "inaccurate inventory-land", saw that my tact may not be customary to most. However when I know what I have looked at for months peaking above the precarious alcove and a near death mission to retrieve and I have always been courteous in making pretend I wasn't pointing right at it when asking if it was available. Today, my online order was not to test your supply chain or who was willing to risk their life to dig out both or even one pipe, I simply saw your coupon in old mail, would have been by otherwise to pick up gravel and foam but the lack of drain online orders take from me, had me giving it a shot, If you need to cancel any of them on order, I am ok with that. As someone who probably is slightly on the "rainbow" of Asperger's, I can't communicate with people citing clearly infactual information in a manner that is socially acceptable and for that, I apologize. In addition I would just like to clarify that you will never see me tryu to thieve (seems to be a customary theme for the market area and not specific to Ace interactions), I am clear about who does not like fielding a question or interaction from me specifically despite seeing their otherwise gregarious interactions with other customers and sorry for run-on sentences but the Native America (I assume) gentleman and newly hired gentleman with likely Scottish or Irish heritage and a background in the automotive field, I have to say are quite welcoming an have a penchant for pleasant customer experiences. I like shopping your store and this is simply an explanation and apology I will soon delete having gotten it off my chest/fingertips. Listing my home for sale after Ace upgrades cannot come fast enough as this is not an area I am at all content with. I pray to be far away in Maine by next spring, but until then, I do hope to comfortably shop and without the need for much in the way of employee assistance in the mean time but until then, thank you and regards.

Went in to look for a toliet handle. No one helped, dude literally pointed to the section. No help, no advice, even if you dont know anything at least suggest a store. Walking out was told to go out the other door. With do other employees not doing shit. Never going back hope no one else does either.

This is truly the place with the helpful hardware man. The several times I have been to this (close) hardware store, they have gone out of their way to help me find exactly what I needed. My picture of a device I was fixing let them look up my part, so I got exactly what I needed. I suppose the price is a bit more then other places, but I have, more then once, bought what I did not need over there.

Wow. Customer service at this location is above and beyond. They didn’t have what I needed in store, but Patricia was on it. She looked it up, called another location, and had them take it to the register for me. This store is very proactive in helping their clients. I really appreciate you all, and I greatly appreciate Patricia going above and beyond today. Thanks guys!!!
