Extremely disrespectful staff. Prices are insane. They got angry at me for wanting to use a coupon that gave 50% off of an item and that the coupon was in their add. They rushed me out the door as fast as they could yelling at me for not putting my money in my wallet fast enough. When I say the prices are insane they are charging $28 for a literal $1 cheap plastic garbage child's side table and you can get that item for about $1 on Amazon Its literally 8 inches tall and literally made for toddlers as in children less than 5 years old. They have jacked up all their prices for everything to insane levels. If you want a single bolt or screw its over $1 to $5 each nut or bolt or screw. Those things use to be $0.08 to $0.32 at most. They are disrespectful. Verbally aggressive and they want to push me out the door as fast as possible and then they have the nerve to ask me to come again. No I will not be returning ever again. The place is too disrespectful. I know many of the good reviews are made by employees of the place and many are actually bot reviews. The place is turned bad really fast. I stopped going as much a while back because the place has started jacking their prices up to the point its cheaper to buy a box of screws and bolts from Home Depot or online than it is to buy 1 from them. Their soda is good but not for the price increase. I can literally buy a 12 pack of soda for the price of 1 of their bottles. Sure they are tasty and in cool flavors but not for the price. They also stopped selling gas powered power tools and mowers and switched to purely electric garbage that has a huge chance of exploding. The place has turned way too woke.

So many good things I could have said about this Ace, from convenience to customer service. Unfortunately a sun hat I bought there literally came apart at the brim after six weeks and I was politely recited the rule that clothing has a 30 day refund, although this was clearly not a wear and tear issue. When rules, however politely enforced, are more important than judgment in a case like this I can't bring myself to return. I would have accepted a $10 discount and acknowledgment the hat was faulty. Now, I will not be making my at least weekly purchases there.

This place is full of amazing people wanting to help. Im personally wanting to give Chuck a shout out. One for just being super sweet, and secondly for how knowledgeable she is. I had twins this past week and while they are still in Nicu, we've been working to get some deep cleaning done before the babies come home. Chuck recommended things that would be safe for our little ones. This is why this is my favorite Ace in the whole town.

I have yet to have a disappointing trip to this store. Every homeowner knows that when you buy a used house, you pay for the sins of all previous contractors and owners amd this place is SO MUCH more convenient than the big box stores when dealing with those headaches. If im in the middle of a job and need something to fix those unforseen obstacles i can pop in here and be out in less time than it takes to reach the back of places like Home Depot. Best part: knowledgeable and helpful store attendants are everywhere! I was in HD a week ago and wasted 30 minutes looking for garage hooks and had no less than 3 employees point me in the wrong direction. Started in aisle 5, one said aisle 22, one said aisle 4. All wrong... By contrast I've been to Mark's ACE 3x this week alone and each time walked in, asked the cashier for a specific item and been CORRECTLY directed it's location. Sometimes, bigger isn't better after all. Literally in and out in less than 5 minutes.

They declined to honor a price drop for goods purchased two weeks ago. I have never been to a store that would not make that adjustment. Their excuses reeked of gaslighting. I will never be back. They responded to me with this: "If your items purchased had not already been used, we would have been more than happy to honor a price change ..." Nonsense. I offered to bring in the unopened and unused products, but they still refused.
