This is a great family owned hardware store in the Cole Valley neighborhood. Staff is much more knowledgeable than the big box stores. The store is large enough to have most things you would need for your home.

I bought a dimmer switch a while ago and it was not working properly due to some possible defects. I did not keep the receipt and just took the switch to the store and see what they can do. To my pleasant surprise, they were helpful in locating the item number and gladly provide a refund towards a new one. No question ask and the services were very courteous and friendly.

I thought I'd reviewed this store several times in the last few years since I moved into the neighborhood, but it looks like Google lost them. BUMMER! Sadly, I cannot recall what I've written in the past, but: It's a super sweet local hardware store. Check it out!

Nobody asked if I needed any help. I thought the "helpful hardware folks" were supposed to be here. Most of the products were in the wrong bins, and the PN/SKU labeling didn't make any sense when finding the actual prices. I also disagree with the organization of the sections. I found most of what I needed though.

I have yet to go here and have a negative experience. We have been customers for years. Really like some of the products that I have not seen anywhere else. We are big fans of the rewards and birthday discounts!
