I bought a $35 propane cord and they said they would take it back if I didn’t use it .. I didn’t use it , it was sealed completely closed and I have a receipt but they would not take it back .. The boy was so rude and wouldn’t give me corporate’s phone number and he wouldn’t give me his name .. I’ve never had such bad customer service and been treated that bad in my 45 years of living ..then he told me to get out the store. The manager came over and gave me corporate’s number and was very nice about it .. Everyone else was nice except for this rude boy.. Even the cashier said she loved my Escalade on my way out.. He should be fired and he’s very very lucky my husband wasn’t with me to see the disrespect he showed me ..

I have never been a huge fan of Ace hardware because their prices are usually much higher than anywhere else. However, I live very close to one and have to run in there from time to time. The one thing I will say is that their customer service is top-notch! You get greeted at the door with a smile and immediately asked if you need help finding something. Such a nice change from Home Depot or Lowe's! AND... the associates actually know their products!! So is it worth paying more?? I'm starting to lean to yes!

Been coming here for years as a child with my parents and now as an adult. Rose is a known employee that we've known for years ,even when she used to work for big lots when they was next door. She's always a good help and loves what she does. Will always be my go to spot to get just about anything for the house hold

I’ve been in this store hundreds of times and spent thousands of dollars. I rented a carpet cleaning machine and kept it an extra day . When I took it back the person in charge told me she should file grand larceny charges on me and I was lucky they didn’t have me picked up and arrested. I ask for a receipt and she refused to give me one . When i asked again she did call the police. You lost a good customer today. When you are in retail sales you don’t treat customers like trash. I don’t think that’s what the founders of Ace hardware meant by the “WOW” experience.

This afternoon, I visited Haltom Hardware to purchase a STIHL PP 900 pole pruner set. From the moment I entered, Autumn (affectionately known as “Fall”) provided exceptional assistance. She promptly used the radio to locate the item, and we quickly found it on the shelf. What truly stood out was the outstanding service from both Fall and Amanda. They went above and beyond by retrieving a factory-sealed box from the back for me. I greatly appreciate their kindness and dedication to customer satisfaction—highly recommended!
